Haapaniemi Elina

Halmarsdottir Herdis (IS) My name is Herdis Hallmarsdottir and I am from Iceland. I am a Supreme Court Attorney as a profession and a dog lover by heart. I have been around dogs and horses all my live. The family has owned Poodles, Rough Collies and Australian Shepherds. Although most of my family focused on horses, and activities for our riding club, my late father was a judge, my passion has always been for dogs. So it came as no surprise to anyone In my family when I stopped riding and interfering in the riding club and started focusing on all that involved dogs and my Kennel Club. I breed Australian Shepherds and Shetland Sheepdogs with a dear friend and College of mine, Lilja Dóra Halldórsdóttir. Our Kennel Undraland is small and all our dogs are beloved family members. I have been heavily active in our Kennel club for several years now. I acted as a chairperson for the disciplinary committee for a few years and sat on the Board. Ch. Music’s Right-On (kerry blue terrier).

Hannelius Henrik, Finland I can tell you that I am really a long term Poodle fan. I have bred poodles for 50 years and judged for 40 years. I started with black miniatures (Medium Size) and still breed the same line. In 1984 I also started with apricot miniatures. I have bred and owned European Winners and World Winner, but my breeding has always been limited due to my professional duties as a vet. I am one of the founders of the Finnish Poodle Club founded in 1962, and have been Chairman of the club and still am the Vice Chairman. My main interest is breeding, and I have been the Chairman of the Breeding Committee of the Finnish Poodle Club for many years. In 1968 I became a poodle judge and I have judged poodle ever since in many countries and as far away as Australia, Siberia, USA and Israel, but also in all Nordic countries, plus England, Germany, France, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Czech Rep., Estonia, Lithuania and Luxembourg, Looking back I have to realize that poodles have played a big part of my life. After all these years I still like breeding, grooming and showing my poodles by myself. I have been quite successful too. In 2008 was Vito of Hannehill the top winning SAR miniature poodle in Finland. In 2009 his young son James Bond of Hannehill was Vice-World Winner in Bratislava. I do enjoy judging poodles very much and look forward judging them again HANNELIUS HENRIK Jag heter Henrik Hannelius ,bor i Finland, och har uppfött främst mellanpudlar i liten skala med kennelnamnet of Hannelhill.

Karin Hedberg

Heikkinen Annaliisa I have always had dogs in my family. When I was a child my father had spitzes and hounds, as hunting was his hobby and he was a field trial judge. My first own dog was a black Cocker Spaniel. During 1969-93 my mother Raili and I bred 54 litters under prefix Mistyway (American Cocker Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Tibetan Spaniels and English Setters). Our American Cockers placed in The Dog of The Year Competetion (all breeds) among the Top Ten: #3 in 1977, #8 in 1980, #1 the year after in 1981 and #2 1986. We have also owned the top winning Tibetan Spaniel -80-81 and BIS-winning Cocker Spaniel. We were the first American Cocker Spaniel breeders to get the Finnish Kennel Club’s Vuolasvirta Award. I have also been awarded the Silver Medal of Honour of the Finnish Kennel Club and the Silver Medal of Honour of the Finnish Spaniel Association. I’m Honorary Member of the Finnish American Cocker Spaniel Club and Finnish Chihuahua Club. In 1996 we purchased our first chihuahua. She was a 3½ lbs tricolour lc bitch with the greatest attitude. She was never used for breeding. I was approwed to award CCs to American Cocker Spaniels in February 1983. Now I have CC rights for 76 breeds. |

I got my first dog, a Wire Fox Terrier, in the year 1961. I began to take part in club activities, shows, obedience and hunting training from the beginning. My first dog was not a star, so I purchased soon another, a bitch, who became Champion. My first litter of Wire Fox Terriers was born in 1968, and since that I have bred over 200 litters, of Wire and Smooth Fox Terriers, English Springer Spaniels and Longhaired Standard Dachshunds, under Wolfheart prefix. I have never counted how many champions and group winners I have owned or bred, (must be over 100) but we have had over 30 International (FCI) champions. I have exported dogs to about 20 different countries and many of them have become champions in their new home countries. There has been also several hunting trial and dual champions. One of our most successful dogs has been the Smooth Fox Terrier Int Ch Wolfheart Nutcracker, who was Terrier of the Year in -76. In the last few years our successes include winning the European Champion title in –98 with Int Ch Wolfheart Moritz and World Champion title in 2001 with Ch Wolfheart Diamond Lil. At the moment I have only Smooth and Wire Fox Terriers, about 20 dogs (and two cats, but they are not for showing or breeding). Showing and breeding nowadays is very limited because of many judging appointments. I was a professional groomer for about 20 years, doing all breeds, and at that time I also handled different breeds in shows, like German Shepherds, Beagles, Cockers, American Cockers, Poodles etc. First I became a judge in -76. I was qualified as an all-breed judge in – 96. (in the FCI countries that means: qualified to award CCs in all the about 350 breeds recognized by the FCI.) Besides Finland, I have judged in 44 different countries: Austria, Australia, Argentina, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Denmark, England, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Japan, Kazakshtan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Thailand, Ukraine and USA. I have been in the judging panel of the Champion of Champions, Veteran of Veterans contests in Finland, Sweden and Norway. In 2002 I’ve judged the Pup of the Year Contest in Ireland and the Champion of Champions Contest in the UK. I have judged many times in the FCI European and World Winner Shows etc. I am also Terrier & Dachshund underground hunting trial judge. We used to keep foxes and train dogs for hunting trials, but nowadays there is no time for that. I have been a board member of the regional Kennel Club for 30 years, being the Vice-President for about 15 years and for the last few years and at present the President. I was a board member of the Terrier Club of Finland for 15 years, being the President for seven years, and editor of the bulletin for 11 years. I have been a board member of the local Dachshund Club for about 15 years, and member of the breeding committee of the Springer Spaniel Club and the Spaniel Club of Finland. At the moment I don’t have much time for club work, but I am the President of the Finnish Judges’ Society. I have been the secretary of the Lahti International Show (nowadays regularly over 4000 dogs) for 30 years, at present I’m the President of the organising committee. At present I am the President of the Fox Terrier Club of Finland, and also the President of the Dog Show Judges’ Association. I am a board member of the World Dog Press Association. After joining the staff of the Finnish Kennel Club in -89 I had to limit the club activities. I was editor of the Kennel Club magazine (circulation over 100 000) for five years, but all the travelling and judging was difficult to combine with regular office hours, and so I started as a freelance journalist and photographer in -95. My articles and photos have been published in many dog magazines, newspapers, books and calendars in Finland and abroad. Besides the Finnish Kennel Club magazine Koiramme and the Hunters’ Union magazine Jahti, I’m a regular correspondent of the Dog World (UK), Purebred Dogs in Review (USA), Droug (Russia), National Dog in the Ringleader way (Australia), and occasionally send articles and photos to many others. I have given lectures for many different clubs about breeding, shows, etc. I have been member of several Finnish Kennel Club committees: the Breeding Committee, the Standard Committee, the Show and Judges’ Committee and the Editorial Committee. At the moment I am the vice-president of the Show and Judges’ Committee, and so one of those in charge of the education and testing of future judges. I have also translated several dog books into Finnish and have been member of a group which made several TV programs about dogs. I have been decorated by the Finnish Kennel Club (golden medal), the regional Kennel Club, the Finnish Terrier Club (golden medal) and the Finnish Dachshund Club (bronze medal). I have been awarded the Vuolasvirta Breeders’ Plaque of the Finnish Kennel Club and the Breeders’ Plaque of the Finnish Terrier Club and the Golden Pin of Breeders (nr.1) of the Fox Terrier Club of Finland. |

Himmrich Torsten , Germany
Born on March, 16th, 1966 in Solingen, Germany, I had many contacts with animals during my childhood. But especially dogs influenced my life. The first terrier was a Scottish terrier puppy male coming to our home in 1980. He was not a special show dog but gives me the first contacts to the terrier club. Later I got a West Highland White terrier bitch and my mum and I decided to breed terriers. Our first litter was born in 1983 and we had about 25 litters till 1991 when my mother died. Because of my work it was not possible to keep all the dogs. Just two of them, both Scottish Terriers, shared their life with me. Only two more litters were born at my home from that time, both out of my world champion bitch “Ginger”. But dog shows are more my passion than breeding dogs. So I traveled to many shows all over Europe. My greatest success was winning the world champion and best of breed at the 1991 show at Dortmund. Dogs out of my kennel have been quite successful at shows. “Fellow” Scottish Terriers obtain International, Austrian, German Terrier club and Kennel club Champions, German and Austrian Club winner, German and Austrian Bundessieger, VDH-European winner, junior champion and VDH European junior winner. “Fellow Maid Marion” was also a Best in Show winner and the top winning Scottish in Germany 1997. I was the president of the local terrier club in Bonn for fifteen years, member of the terrier club comity as the judges chairman for a couple of years now. In 1991 I started my judging educations, in the beginning of 1993 I got the license to judge seven different terrier breeds and finished the terrier group in 2005. Till now I judged in most of the European countries and had the honor to judge at FCI World- and European winner shows. Hjort Leif Ragnar

Hoblin Andrew I was introduced into the world of poodles and dog shows when I meet my current partner Roger Bayliss in 1985. Since then I have been actively involved in the showing and breeding poodles under the kennel name Kertellas. We have consistently shown and campaigned all 3 sizes of poodles to their titles in the UK as well as Ireland made the occasional foray into Europe. I suppose I most famous exhibit would be Ch Suraliam Putting On The Ritz the current bitch CC record holder in miniatures. Although the majority of dogs are in Rogers name I have titled several standards and a miniature in my own name. I first awarded CC’s in standards in 1996 and subsequently in miniatures and toys and have awarded CC’s on several occasions since then. I am very much looking forward to my judging assignment in Sweden. |

Holley Jill, England As long as I can remember my family always owned a dog. In 1971 my parents bought me my first Irish Setter Cornevon Tranquil and the late Janice Roberts encouraged me to show her. My parents thought it would be a good hobby! And thirty years later I am still enjoying showing and have made some wonderful friends. Cornevon Tranquil produced Sh Ch Wynjill Red Robin who was B.O.B at Crufts. In 1993 I had the thrill of judging Irish Setter Bitches at Crufts and seeing the great Sh Ch Danaway Debonair go onto win B.I.S. I have been lucky enough to make up six Show Champions and various C.C and Res C.C winners. At the moment I am showing the Sh Ch Danaway Discreet. I fell honoured to be invited to judge at HUND2005 Show with my great friend Mrs Mary Gurney. |

Holm MarianneI am celebrating the 50th anniversary of sharing my life with schnauzers – it is half a century now, since I received my very first own dog, a p&s miniature schnauzer bitch, later Fi & S Ch Munkin Affra. I was just a little girl back then and was allowed in the ring only in dog&child competitions, my father would show all the family dogs. I, however, was allowed to show a German Pinscher, who would not show himself with anyone else and had, if I may say, an interesting character otherwise also. Ever since I have been involved, more or less, in all the schnauzer-pinscher family. Afunique black and silvers are 52 litters by now, all homebred and hand raised, dearly loved by us and their families. I myself stopped showing when I was qualified to judge in 2002 and have concentrated in that and learning more. I am judging in groups 1,2,4,5,6 and 10 as we speak and expanding my authorities slowly. I have promised to return in the rings with a perfect, classic schnauzer – hopefully I live long enough to see the day! Until then, I remain enjoying the beauty of diversity of the canine in the dog show rings. Marianne Holm, Finland

Horspool Phillip, Storbrittanien I was introduced into dog showing in the late 1970’s by a neighbour who bred Cairn Terriers, hence my interest in this breed, I was brought up with pet dogs at home namely a Labrador and a couple of Jack Russell Terriers. Most of the shows we attended were local, I did breed a couple of litters of Cairns but my main involvement with them evolved from stewarding at various shows, visiting other breeders to view their dogs and eventually judging them, I first awarded CC’s in Cairns in 2007. I still steward at the Midland Cairn Terrier Club championship show each year and I have done so for quite a while now. As it happens and by coincidence, the very first Championship show I attended was the National Terrier Club show in 1978, where strangely enough the eventual Best in Show winner was a Smooth Fox Terrier owned by Miss L Beak, Ch Newmaidley Mapleden Laurel, the first Smooth of my own that I started to show was actually bred by Mr Jack Watson of the Fieldron prefix. I made up my first champion Smooth in 1985 Ch Mosvalley Mimosa bred by Mrs Cherry Davies, from this line I have bred a few champions and other winners, although at the time of writing I have not bred a litter for over 10 years, but I am pleased that my current Champion is a descendant of this breeding, I also have had the pleasure of handling Smooths for other exhibitors and making some of them into Champions. I have awarded CC’s in both Smooths and Wires on several occasions but I am really looking forward to judging Smooths at Crufts Dog Show in 2012. My involvement in Australian Terriers came almost by chance, as in the early years I used to attend a local dog training classes, as did Mr & Mrs Hodgson of the well known Brimartz Kennel, one particular Ausie I showed for Velma Hodgson was Ch Brimartz Fire n Ice, with whom I won Best in Show 3rd at The National Terrier Club championship show. As I have documented I award CC’s in 4 terrier breeds in the UK and I also judge a few other terrier breeds, but only the ones I am genuinely interested in. |

Horswell Jeff Jeff has been going to dog shows from an early age. It all started when his mother (Ann Foxwell) having decided that a Great Dane was the ideal breed for a family pet, decided to go along to a local show. A ‘show’ Dane followed and the Auldmoor Great Dane kennel has gone on to produce a steady stream of Champions, both in the UK and around the world. Jeff decided to have Miniature Wire Dachshunds as his own breed. 23 Min Wire Champions have been made up by him, including 3 Crufts BOB winners and 4 group winners. Jeff has always had an interest in many breeds, and has also made up a Greyhound Champion and 2 Field Spaniel Show Champions, along with winning RCCs with a Basenji and Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. He has won CCs as a handler in Irish Wolfhounds, Whippets and Italian Greyhounds. Jeff first judged in 1982, and first awarded CCs in 1989, to Wire & Min Wire Dachshunds. He judged Min Wires at Crufts in 2000, his first Hound Group in 2000 and BIS in 2003. Jeff is approved to award CCs in breeds across all 7 UK groups, along with BIS and the 7 UK groups. Hovila TarjaI got my first own dog, cockerspaniel, as a birthday gift at 12 years age in early ’70’s, after longtime nagging from my parents. Soon I found an inspiration about dogs as a hobby and breeding . My first dog was just a pet quality, so I wanted a new one as my second dog and after couple of more years I got my real foundation bitch, an English springer spaniel, which is still behind all Adamant’s ESS and also in pedigrees of plenty of Swedish ESS today via her daughter, that is the foundation bitch of famous Swedish kennel ’Rowntree’. I got my judging rights to ESS year 1999 and since that I have got all FCI 8 judging rights and about half of FCI7. Due to the fact I am still so active as a breeder and with all shows, I have not even tried to get any more judging rights, because there is not enough time. Adamant’s ESS have managed to win ’Top Breeder All Breeds Finland’ now 4 times: 2010, 2011, 2016, 2017 and now we are still #1 before couple of last shows 2018. We live with my husband and our son in a beautiful countryside in southern Finland on our farm . We only have 3 dogs at home now and never have had more than 6, this breed just loves to be so close to you as possible so I have not heart to have any kennels for them; they are all our beloved family members. But I have managed to find great people around me and we do co working for the breed as a team, and that has given us all fantastic moments together around this lovely hobby. I have had a pleasure to judge in Scandinavian countries, UK, France, Germany, Chech, Ireland , Estonia, Netherlands, Estonia and Australia and enjoyd allways so much . It will be a great pleasure and honour for me to judge again in Stockholm. |

Hudono Andi (ID) From a young age, I have always have dogs and from 1972, I started breeding and showing Chihuahua, Pekingese, Miniature Pinscher. To date, I have breed and owned over 80 Indonesian, Indian, Japanese, Singaporean and American Champions in a number of breeds. I graduated in 1978, from the University of Indonesia medical school and obtained my degree and training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in England. I am a member of The Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, England and a practicing consultant in Jakarta (Indonesia), specializing in infertility. During my stay in England, I visited and gained first-hand experience and knowledge from famous breeders there, such as Ocobo (English Bulldog), Yeosinga, Apoco Deodar (Chihuahua), Ashgate (West Highland White Terrier), Fantasia/Upend (Rottweiler) and several others. My first import from England was a Chihuahua. My first Miniature Pinscher import was a red male in 1983 from Japan and this dog became an Indonesian Champion and the top Miniature Pinscher in Indonesia. I have also bred Miniature Pinscher. My interest also extends to Pomeranians, imported from England. From England, I imported Mini Smooth Dachshunds and Boxers. I have bred and shown Mini Smooth Dachshund successfully. The Boxers came from the famous Marbelton Kennel. The first Dobermann I owned was in 1978. My first import in 1980 was a brown male from the USA. This dog became the no.1 Indonesian Dobermann, and then went on to become an Indonesian, American, and Canadian Champion. Later I imported Dobermann from the famous Franckenhorst breeder and dogs with Nordenstamm Bloodlines from Europe. Harmonic Dobermanns are the result of these Americans, Franckenhorst and Nordenstamm bloodline combinations. I have exported Dobermanns to Singapore, India, Philipine, Canada, England and Europe. I am a founding member and the breed counsellor of The Dobermann Club of Indonesia. I had served for several years as a Vice Chairman, breed counselor, committee and now Chairman of The Judges Training Committee of The Indonesia Kennel Club (PERKIN). My first appointment to judge Dobermann from The Indonesian Kennel Club was in 1993. In 2006 I have been approved to judge by The Dobermann Club in England, and in 2009 The Kennel Club in UK approved me to give CC merit in UK. At present I am licensed to judge and award Challenge Certificate (CAC and CACIB) on All Breeds including FCI Shows, and have judged Specialty, Multi Breeds, and All Breeds Shows. I have judged in Europe at the prestigious Euro Dog Show in Kortrijk Belgium, England/U.K, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Luxembourg, Italy, Lithuania, Estonia,Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Brazil, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippine, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India, China and various cities in Indonesia. |

Började döma på open shows 1989, fick sin första championchip show 1999. Dömer endast saluki, och dömer rasen för första gången utanför Storbrittanien I came into Salukis in 1982 when I married my wife Lisa who had a Saluki called Glenoak Ruby Gem (Freyha) and we started showing her in 1984. She became a Champion in 1988, having won her third Challenge Certificate at the age of eight. Our first Champion, however, was Ch Lusaki Pericles of Glenoak. These two, together with Freyha’s sister Callie (Glenoak Sapphire Star) were the foundation of the Glenoaks. Since then, we have bred ten litters, our latest puppies being nearly five months old. From these litters, four have become UK Champions, my favourite being Ch Glenoak Davande who won ten CC’s. I started judging Salukis at Open Show level in 1989. Later I was passed to judge at Championship Shows and in 1999 I awarded CC’s for the first time. Since then I have judged Salukis at two more Championship Shows and have been appointed to judge in Scotland in April 2009. I do not judge any other breed and my appointment in Malmö will be the first time I have judged outside the UK. Lisa and I have tried to breed a recognisable Glenoak type and have only bred a litter when we wanted to keep a puppy. (Sometimes we kept more than one – by accident almost.) Our principal aim is to breed for soundness and temperament, but we are very keen to maintain the Saluki breed as it was when it was introduced to Europe in the first half of the nineteenth century and when the breed standard of 1923 was written. This Saluki shows speed and endurance on the field, and grace and symmetry in the home. |

Hunt Andrew I have been associated with dogs for all of my life, predominantly Wire Fox Terriers. I showed my first dog when I was 8 years old. I then went on to become a professional handler of Terriers, later leading on to becoming the Breeder/Owner of Dominus Wire Fox Terriers. I have been President of the WFTA and have served on their committee for several years. As a handler, I have made up over 120 English Champions, in 10 Breeds, mainly Terriers. I award CCs in 8 different Terrier breeds and judge the Terrier Group at Championship level in the UK. I very much look forward to coming to Stockholm and judging your Terriers. |

Wera & Rodi Hübenthal 2016 Norwegians, living in Sweden/Thailand Their ”doglife” begain after the met his future wife in school in 1961. He had a Norwegian Buhund at that time. Wera had a Whippet. Thet stardet with Dobermann; showing, obedience and later om with breeding. During more than 40 years they have in addition to Dobermann: been involved with German Pinscher. Min.Pin., Giant Schnauzer, Wippet och Briard. Their breeding stock have been imported from Sweden and Finland (Dobermann), England (Dobermann & Briard), Germany (Dobermann & German Pinscher), Israel (Min.Pin) and USA (Briard). About 150 dogs with the prefix ”Picador” have become Shampins, not only in Scandinavia – Puppies are exported to several countries. At the moment there are no more dogs in the house, due to the judging around the world. Rodi has been involved in severel committees during this time, among them the founder and chariman of The Norwegian Pinscher Club and The Norwegian Briard Club; Chairman of The Norwegian Dogjudges Association; member of the Norwegian Kennel Club´s education committee. Wera was for several years a member of The Norwegian Kennel Club´s standard commitee. He started as a Judge in 1969, his firs breeds was Dobermann, Rottweiler and the Sighhounds (Group 10). He was working with his education until 1992 when he bacame an All-breed judge. Wera was a Steward for 20 years before she started as a judge in 1984. In 1998 she also was finnished with her education as an All-breed judge. This fantastic hobby has brougt them all over the world. Also beeing a part of shows such as World- and European-Winner Shows. Champions of Champions and Royal Shows in Australia. One year ago they were judging at the first ever dogshow in Barain. |
